This Research Institution having 120 local and some 10 external users was seeking for a solution able to distribute profiled information and application resources.
The Port was the right answer to this need as a basis for its CRM portal.

Applications distributing vertical information were realized with The Port development tools, which insures an entire compliancy and homogeneity for the portal's exploitation.

Immediate compatibility with concurrent software park and OS resources (Windows NT, IIS, Oracle), capacity to integrate and develop new services - those few key features of The Port had convinced CERIB to integrate rapidly this solution.

Cerib foresee with The Port new development needs , reduce its future costs and rationalize the access to html resources already existing.

mywineaccount.com : internet / extranet portal

Mywineaccount was conceived by Dolia - Bordeaux wine trade company - for funs and collectors of up-market wines and liqueurs. In a few clicks, you can create, manage, follow up on-line your one virtual cellar. Qualified information about wine world is distributed following the users' profile.

mywinaccount.com bases on The Port under a HP/Linux architecture. Cross management of content and access, specific structure of information, e-mail-box, searching engine, one-to-one personalized framework - all those services are integrated in a standard solution.

Therefore, the application managing wine cellars was customized in order to answer to specific needs. Integration of extent application in the system (managed by The City) was facilitated by the OS and data base compatibility of The Port.

Personalized or general indicators are distributed to the portal users accordingly to their profile by a one-to-one interface.

First, the wine amateur can create his cellar on-line, using a wines' catalogue regularly up-dated. Then, he can follow the evolution of wine's prices.
A wine cellar is managed as a market portfolio, on the web. Wine catalogue, regularly updated, price evolutions followed-up in real time, personalised space for each user with last wine quotation or profiled information - all those features increase the interest that mywineaccount can bring for the wine world.

Information is structured in order to accede it transversally, in intranet, extranet or Internet. Dolia can consult the content of his subscribers' virtual cellars in order to offer them adapted information or addressing commercial offers.

Maintenance is insured by a graphic framework those parameters enables the portal administrator to up-date wine catalogue and publish contents. This useful function insures a real-time information.

A renting system proposed by The Port goes together with the external hosting of Dolia's portal. This one is distributed in ASP system on HP or Linux server.

Orléans City : intranet portal

The intranet prototype of Orléans City, chief town of Loiret (108 000 inhabitants / 270000 urban agglomeration) was confided to iNet and Pentalog High Tech.

LDAP compatible registry, creation and content management for press release or internal news (semantic searching and indexation)- all centralised in an unique communication tool for the 600 city agents _ portal users.

INet provides Orleans city with The Port software pack L (one-to-one frame work) + contents'creation and management + GED+ reporting+ mail+diary) and The Channel for Exchange 2000, which enables Microsoft groupware server to be connected to The Port.

Once validate this first pilot portal, iNet will be incharged with developing other new functions and portal exploitations.

Limoges Hospital : intranet portal

The Port was chosen by Limoges hospital for its content creation and management module , The Wind those key features - ergonomy and workflow beeing without equivalent on the market.

Concretely, the intranet portal created with The Port software allows to different commissions of this Hospital to have an essential tool for their activities. In this way portal users can easily communicate and collaborate by sending their works or reports towards their colleagues. Information is centralised and distributed in function of the profile of each declared user..

Rassinoux s.a. : extranet portal

Rassinoug LTC, local company specialising in production of fine sheet metal is the second actor on the European market of shrink-wrap machines. Due to The Port, Rassinoux becomes a "click and mortar" company, which improves its communication towards clients by a modern client relationships management.

A portal site provided with information from the ERP system informs company's clients about delivery dates. This application was conceived around The Port solution, pack M. Information is received by The Port's engine and dispatched via its integrated mail system to the concerned users.

A report about on way deliveries is accessible on a web site via extranet. The Radio, the e-mailing component of The Port allows to receive and distribute information towards the consignee client. A complete report about under way or coming deliveries is realised by The Port engine and distributed on the extranet web site.

Pentalog High Tech : internet / intra-extranet portal

A large range of services conceived around The Port solutions provided on the internet portal of Pentalog High Tech, service engineering company.

Static information (corporate information, services tenders…) and dynamic information real time up-dated (press release, communicates, interviews, CV's team) are available via Internet due to The Wind - contents' creation and management module of The Port.

Multi-OS and database compatibility enables the portal to be linked to an application, managing on-line orders. Quantity, and prices up-dated by an Oracle data base, allows to different clients to have dynamic estimates of Pentalog High Tech services. Estimates are emitted in function of the quantities requested.

The specific information structure centralise different data and re-use commercial information on different states of production, from invoice emission till after sales service.
Applicants can seize in special form their CV's or application letters. Those data are centralised in a database which allows to treat them easily by HR department.

A secured connection via Extranet allows to Pentalog Clients to follow up their projects: general follow up, meeting reports, invoice statement, planning, weekly activity statements.
